Educational Outreaches offer a special up-close opportunity to Belt School students and community members to interact and learn from high quality professionals in the live performing arts field.
The Belt Performing Arts Center and Belt Schools have collaborated to bring artists to the classroom since 2019.
Content of outreaches vary from exposure to new instruments, instrumental techniques, songwriting and creative composition, music history, performance skills and what it takes to make a career in the performing arts.
A person's quality of life is most often positively impacted by listening to and participating in live music performance. Local school educators praise the opportunity to host live performers in their classrooms.
Outreach is offered in partnership with Belt Schools, Belt Library, Alliance For Youth of Great Falls, Montana Arts Council, Western Arts Federation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
