About
the belt performing arts center
bringing the performing arts
to rural central Montana
The Belt performing arts center's mission is to advance youth, amateur and professional performing arts productions while enriching the lives of rural central Montana residents through exposure and participation in the performing arts.
Our goals are to provide a home stage for the Belt Valley Shakespeare Players, a summer stage for the belt theater academy's community players, and to provide an essential and affordable gathering place for our school and rural community through the use of our theater stage, conference and ballroom spaces.
Our center is dedicated to the preservation of the historic Knights of Pythias Castle building. After twenty years of dedicated effort in raising the funds necessary to restore this iconic building, serious renovation and reconstruction began in 2016 and was completed in May 2018.
The Center will provide a well-appointed performing arts venue for the benefit of residents and visitors to central Montana.
Our Board of Directors
The Belt Performing Arts Center is led by an all-volunteer Board of local residents with a love of live performing arts and a dedication to the preservation of the historic knights of pythias castle.
